St. Joseph, The Worker Parish in West Jordan
About Our Field...

St. Joseph the Worker is blessed with a large six-and-a-half acre field which lies behind the church. To the east of the field is a breathtaking view of the Wasatch Mountains.

The field had remained vacant for many years until Father Carley and an all-volunteer crew began developing the grounds into a multi-sports and multi-use field. Four years and a huge amount of hard labor have produced a great community gathering space which includes a baseball diamond, horseshoe pits, a large colorful canopy, a pavilion, outdoor restrooms and lots of picnic space. In the works are plans for 3 junior soccer fields, a full-size soccer field crossing them and a playground. In the fall of each year, the field is used for the annual folkfest
